LinkedIn Learning Offers Course Videos on Hundreds of Topics

LinkedIn Learning Available

LinkedIn Learning, an online educational platform, is now available to all College of Charleston faculty and staff. LinkedIn Learning can help you discover and develop technology, business, and creative skills through expert-led course videos on hundreds of topics – all on your own schedule.

Accessing LinkedIn Learning

Faculty and staff can access LinkedIn Learning by logging into Absorb (cofc.myabsorb.com) with their College credentials. Navigate to the My Courses tile from the Dashboard to see courses you may have been enrolled in, or to the Catalog tile to see recommended courses (see detailed instructions). To browse the extensive list of courses available in LinkedIn Learning, faculty and staff must log in through Office 365 (portal.office.com) with their College credentials and navigate to the More Apps section (see detailed instructions).

Why Use LinkedIn Learning

Besides relevant trainings your supervisor may suggest for your specific position, Human Resources and IT have created a curriculum of topics that will help raise technical, communication, and leadership competencies across campus. Good news, not only will you be adding to your skill set, but in addition you can choose to add completed courses and related skills to your professional LinkedIn profile. Coming this summer, LinkedIn Learning will also be available through an integration with OAKS, allowing faculty to recommend supplementary tutorials and modules to students in their courses.
