Check the Operating Status of Campus Technology Services

The Division of Information Technology is excited to launch Status Page. The site,, provides real-time information on the operating status of campus technology services.

Visitors to Status Page will find:

  • A list of technology services, like MyCharleston, Banner, OAKS, or the wireless network, and their current operating status. A green “Normal” indicates a service is operating normally; a yellow “Performance” indicates a service is experiencing performance issues; and a red “Disruption” indicates a service is experiencing a disruption. 
  • A page calendar indicating upcoming maintenance dates and details.

Status Page will also:

  • Send campus-wide email notifications. Emails will have a special template look and use a green, yellow, or red color to indicate status, provide updates, and resolution information.
  • Share maintenance and disruption information by way of social media posts on Information Technology’s official accounts (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram).
